Information and Open Day at Manor House Care Home

We are pleased to invite families, friends, and anyone interested in learning more about life at Manor House to our Information and Open Day on Thursday 4th December. This relaxed and friendly event is a chance to meet our team, explore the home, and find out more about the support we provide.

The day begins at 10.00 am with a welcome from our Home Manager, Simon, followed by a guided tour. This is an ideal opportunity to see our living spaces, meet the staff who care for our residents each day, and ask any questions about our approach to care.

At 12.00 pm, we will be joined by Matt Hignett from Beaumont Wealth, who will be offering guidance on planning for later life. Many families find financial planning one of the more challenging aspects to navigate, so we hope this session provides useful support and reassurance. A complimentary lunch will be served at 12.30 pm, giving guests the chance to chat informally with staff and other visitors.

During the afternoon, we are honoured to welcome Deena Heaney, MBE, a multi-award-winning dementia specialist, who will be speaking at 1.30 pm. Deena has dedicated many years to supporting people living with dementia and their families, and her talk will offer valuable insight into understanding the condition and how best to support wellbeing. To close the day, at 2.30 pm, Milan Mores will deliver a presentation on Alcohol Related Brain Damage (ARBD), sharing real experiences and highlighting the importance of tailored, compassionate care.

Whether you are exploring care options now or planning for the future, our Open Day is designed to provide clarity, reassurance, and the chance to connect with people who understand the journey.

We would love to welcome you.
Please RSVP by emailing lorraine.shannon@careconcerngroup.com or calling 07526 563 353.
