Daily group activities
Managed and run by our facilities manager, our activities programme has been created to ensure our residents can take part daily in a group activity such as singing, bingo, baking, games, and crafts. Our activities team are here 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
We make the most of significant occasions such as Remembrance Day, Royal Weddings, and Christmas when we ensure our home feels festive and magical.

Residents are assessed and if for any reason involvement in a group activity is not suitable the team will ensure their needs are accommodated via tailored one to one activities.

Trips
From lunch in the community, to going to church or days out at picturesque gardens, the weekly day trips we run are a huge hit.
We ensure the needs of our residents are met while out and about, using our own 14 seater minibus and allocating the appropriate number of staff for the people going to ensure a safe and happy outing.

Involved
It can be important for loved ones and residents alike to feel a sense of ‘normality’ which is why we run events throughout the year that everyone including our local community attend.
We also have a café in The Village where family members can take their loved one for coffee and cake.
Communal lounge areas in each unit offer lots of space to catch up, or you can enjoy the sensory gardens with seating, sun umbrellas, herb garden and pathways winding through extensive grounds.

Salon
Many of our residents have spent a lifetime taking pride in their appearance, and old habits such as a trip to the hair salon are something that still hold great importance for their well-being.
This is why we have built an in-home hair salon, where residents can make an appointment and have the full hair salon experience.

Home
At the Manor House, it is the little details that help to ensure a home from home environment as well as feeling of independence for our residents. Every resident receives a homemade cake on their birthday as well as a card and present. There is also a tuck shop, daily newspapers, and toiletry trolley so residents can choose any extras they may need.
There is music on every floor as well as in corridors and lounges. At Christmas, we put on a traditional Dinner with turkey, beef, ham, all the trimmings and crackers followed by Boxing Day with cold meats and pickles!
