Manor House Nursing Home is a care home that specialises in providing care for adults living with mental health conditions because of previous substance misuse. We offer a person-centred care plan for each resident, ensuring that their individual needs are met.
We understand that the long-term impact of years of substance misuse can be a complex and challenging issue to deal with. That’s why we offer a comprehensive care plan that addresses the individual needs of each resident. Residents who come to live with us as a result of mental health conditions as the result of substance abuse may be living Korsakoff syndrome, confusion, memory loss, lack of co-ordination through the direct toxic effects of alcohol on brain cells, the biological stress of repeated intoxication and withdrawal or head injuries sustained whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
